Vastly overrated. Adonal Foyle. Golden State. 4 years, $40m. This sickens me and I'm a huge Adonal fan. Derek Fisher. Golden State. 4 years, $25m. He's got 2 good years left, another Chris Mullin special. Mike Dunleavy. Golden State. Whatever's he's paid is a disgrace. The worst starter in the league. Jamaal Tinsley. Indiana. 5 years, $35m. A total headcase. Eddie Jones. Memphis. 1 year, $16m. Can't resist including this. His agent is a genius. Michael Redd. Milwaukee. 5 years, $80m. How is Michael Redd worth $80m? Bewildering. Steve Francis. New York. 3 years, $45m. If his last 2 years are an indicator, his last even decent years are far behind him. Zach Randolph. Portland. 5 years, $73m. Why? Why? Why? Peja's deal was a bit extreme.
Wally at 11, 12 and 13.
Tyson Chandler's contract when compared to Big Ben's also looks pretty ugly.
What dirt does Cuban have on Terry to get him to sign a 6-year 50 mil deal? Even if he really just wanted to stay in Dallas, couldn't he have taken a 4-year 40 million deal?
Also, I have to say that Fisher is worth every penny or at least by comparison to the rest of the team's contracts. Foyle, Dunleavy, even Baron Davis at 15+ makes Fish a good deal... sorta like not minding the $3.50 charge for the 10oz coke in the mini-bar after dropping $600 downstairs in the casino.
Jermaine is the best player on that team and while overpaid, he is one of the top players in the East and a legit boat guy.
It is difficult to say that some bigs are overpaid when Dalembert and Chandler and Nene received $10m per contracts.
Peja's deal is based on him reverting to the Peja of 2 seasons ago before he was injured and traded for Ron-Ron. That Peja is an outstanding player.
Also stunned by Terry. He's worth more. A lot more. Maybe $65m total. Cannot figure this one out.
8 of the top twenty highest paid players missed the playoffs last year including 1. Garnett, 2. Webber, 2. Houston, 6. AI, 12. Starbury, 13. Pegleg Hill, 13. Rose, 13. T-Mac. Some of them are still great players but all of those contracts are sucking the life out of their franchises.
